Strasshof is the longest village in lower Austria and the scouting house is at the end of it when you come from Vienna. Strasshof is located in Lower Austria. The district is called Gänserndorf and the capital of the district is the neighbouring city Gänserndorf.
Strasshof doesn’t have a hospital, but in the nearest town, Gänserndorf, is a day hospital. In Mistelbach is the next hospital.
Six GPs (general practitioners) are located in Strasshof for smaller injuries, but you should check out the opening hours on their websites.

In Strasshof we have four supermarkets, the nearest are Billa, Penny and Hofer.
“Domani” (https://www.domani.at) is the most famous pizzeria in Strasshof. There are some other restaurants for example “Zündwerk”, which is an American steakhouse, China-Restaurant City Garten, a Chinese restaurant and a typical Austrian restaurant “Föhrenhof”. We have also two ice cream parlors and the bakery “Geier” (http://www.geier.at).
There are two train stations and the nearest from the scouting house is in “Silberwald”. (Strasshof and Silberwald belong together)
If you want to gas up you can choose between two 24 hours opened petrol stations and one without a shop.
